Camilo Carreño-Gonzalez:
The Mind is a Seed The Heart Waters
August 14 - September 5, 2026
Members Gallery
Working primarily in small format, Carreño-Gonzalez's choice initially emerged as a rejection of the monumental. However, it has evolved into a celebration of the uncanny, the often disregarded, and the overlooked. This shift is deeply influenced by his perspective as an immigrant from Latin America. The small format serves as a conduit for an intimate encounter between the artwork and the viewer, compelling them to approach closely and fully engage with the nuances.
John Terdich:
Requiem Trio: HOLD-For The Constitution
August 14 - September 5, 2026
m.i.a.r.
John Terdich presents Requiem Trio: HOLD-For The Constitution, an installation that considers the balance of power within our government. After John Terdich’s brother died in 1990, he created and exhibited the installation, Requiem Quartet: HOLD, as a memorial for him and other victims of AIDS. Using the same format over one year in 2022, he staged and photographed Requiem Quartet: HOLD-The Four Seasons, which explored the changing environment.
Curated Group Show:
Constellations
September 11 - October 3, 2026
Studio Gallery
Constellations is a group exhibition exploring one of humanity's oldest obsessions — the sky. Spanning astronomy and astrology, wonder and dread, the works in this show map our collective need to find pattern and meaning in the vast, indifferent cosmos. From star charts to cosmic horror, Constellations asks what it means to look up.
Opening reception 5-9pm on Friday, September 11
